52, passed suddenly of heart failure on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her home in Cumberland, RI. She was born February 2, 1969, in Providence, RI to Catherine "Catie" Ann Malloy-Greene. Barbara is predeceased by her mother, and stepdad Richard "Pop" Sifers. Barbara worked for many years as a licensed electrician and data specialist with Spencer Communications, Nulco Lighting, and at Dunkin Donuts. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting blankets for family, friends, and donating to those in need.
Barbara said she wanted 3 things in life: "bigger boobs", to own a home, and to be married. She achieved all of these with the love and support of her soul mate of 15 years and husband, Stephen M. Bourgeois. Stephen made Barbara his wife on December 12, 2020.
She is survived, in addition to her spouse, by her children: Kristin Mitchell, Michael Greene, and Roy Connors; stepchildren: Stephen A. & Cassie Bourgeois, Lauren Connors, and Karissa & Kara Hassett; a grandchild, Wade Souliere; siblings: Maria Merandi, Thomas Greene and his spouse Kristen Jones-Alden, and Timothy Greene; grandparents: Thomas and Theresa (Plamondon) Malloy; uncles and aunts: Richard Pina, Gale (Malloy) Pina, Russell St. Germain, and Debra (Malloy) L'Esperance; nieces and nephews: Samantha Foss, Lauren & Tommy Greene, Timmy Greene, and Danielle & Ashley Alden.
Barbara also leaves behind many other cherished family and friends.
